Big Boss Season 8 - Gautam's Birthday celebrated in style

After a chaotic or rather dramatic outcome of the previous day, Bigg Boss 8 housemates wake up to Day 68. A new energy is flaring around the realms of the house as it is Gautam Gulati’s 27th birthday. All the housemates who were at one point resisting Gautam’s presence are now happy for him and are looking forward for his birthday celebration.
Puneet who is the most excited of all is seen making kheer for all thehousemates on the occasion. While Diandra and Gautam carry on their flirting, others gear up for their household course for the day. Ali enters in the house after a day off in a separate room and none of the housemates talk to him or show any kind of concern for his health.
As the day progresses, Bigg Boss announces that breaking of rules will not be accepted in the house and hence nominate Sonali for the whole season week on week as a punishment for slapping Ali. Sonali, who is not happy with the decision, thinks it is unfair but accepts it. Ali keeps mum but looks satisfied.
In the evening, Bigg Boss launches the Captaincy task where former captains Gautam, Diandra, Upen, Ali and Puneet will select one contestant among all the other housemates to become the next captain. Dimpy, Sonali, Karishma, Praneet, Pritam and Renee are the contenders for the captaincy race. The task set up in the garden area consists of a board with the photos of all the contenders. In front of every photo is kept a bottle of colored water. As per the rule one former captain at a time will go and empty the bottle of a particular contestant whom they don't want to make the captain. On the sound of the buzzer one after the other all the former captains will come forward and do the task.
As the day comes to an end, Gautam settles down feeling a little disappointed that there is no celebration on his birthday. However, Bigg Boss surprises him by sending a cake for him. Diandra brings in the cake as all others jump up with excitement. Gautam’s happiness knows no bound as he cuts the cake while everyone sings happy birthday for him. The celebrations get even more interesting as Gautam’s signature track “Urvashi’ is played in the background. All the housemates are in a cheerful mood. On Gautam’s demand, all the girls put on their dancing shoes and show off their glamorous moves while all the boys go shirtless ending the day by celebrating the blue eyed boy’ s birthday in style.

Big Boss Season 8 - Football match followed by Gautam's bithday party in the Bigg Boss house

The Luxury budget task this time required the girls in the house to choose three men to play a football task in the activity area. The floor of the activity area was made slippery with sand and oil making it badly slippery. The chosen men were – Upen, Gautam and Praneet. The boys were supposed to move the footballs kicking gently till the red mark and then striking a goal. The challenging bit was to roll the balls uptil the red line, which was difficult owing to the zero friction supporting the grip. Boys played like kids and I had fun watching them.Upen won the game by converting12 goals and he won a trophy too! Yayyieee! Let’s see how the luxury budget benefits housemates.

Later in the evening Di was called inside the confession room and to her awe there was a birthday cake waiting! Since morning all the housemates kept requesting Big Boss to send a birthday cake for Gautam. You could see a million dollor smile on Gauti’s face, who had actually lost hope of having a birthday celebration. Not only this, Bigg Boss also played ‘Urvashi Urvashi.' That was not all, there were back to back party tracks played for celebrations as all the boys got shirtless to dance and to set the right mood the lights in the house were turned milder. Oh Gosh! But then a slow track was played hinting at Gauti and Di to dance in each other’s arms! Diandra looked so shy! Awww!

It was an incredible end of the day!

Big Boss Season 8 - Gautam Gulati Loves With Diandra Soares

Tomorrow’s episode will show the two contestants getting intimate and cosy inside the confinement of the bathroom

Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon did it. Tanisha Mukerji and Armaan Kohli too did it. We are talking about being caught inside locked in the Bigg Boss bathroom. Now tomorrow’s episode will have house favourite Gautam Gulati and model Diandra lock themselves up in the bathroom.

From the promo clip that we saw for tomorrow’s episode we see Diandra get flirty with Gautam. There has been a gradual build up to the blow hot- blow cold relation between these two. However as the show nears it’s last five weeks the chemistry between Gautam and Diandra seems to be taking a new route.

Unlike the international format Big Brother where contestants are spotted not only getting intimate, but also having sex inside the house, Bigg Boss 8 is quite tame and censored keeping the channel guidelines and policies. However like the past seasons contestants who get close to each other find themselves locked in the bathroom during a task or due to some other reason to avoid the prying eyes of the camera.

It will be interesting to see what turn this romance of Gautam and Diandra takes in the coming weeks!

Big Boss Season 8 - Sonali nominated for the entire season for slapping Ali Quli Mirza

There seems to be no end of troubles for actor Sonali Raut, who got into a bitter scuffle with co-contestant Ali Quli Mirza in the Bigg Boss house on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Xpose actor slapped Ali across the face, after which as punishment she has now been nominated by Bigg Boss himself for all the remaining weeks of the entire season of the reality show.

A source close to the show tells us that all this started after contestant Puneet Issar started having an argument with Ali over Sonali, alleging that Ali had said certain things about Sonali when actor Lisa Haydon had entered the show, two weeks back.

"Puneet said that Ali said such cheap things about Sonali that he cannot even utter those words again. Hearing that Sonali was furious, and she and Ali started shouting at each other, when Sonali lost control and slapped Ali across his face," says our source, adding, "Ali, too, lost control and threatened to leave the show. He tried to climb the walls of the house and go out. Later he said he was feeling unwell, and that his blood pressure was fluctuating. A doctor was called in to see him but his medical condition is perfect now. However, Sonali has been harshly reprimanded by Bigg Boss and she has been nominated for the entire season, now."

This is not the first time that Sonali and Ali got into a fight on this show. A few weeks back, Sonali had blamed Ali for inappropriately touching her from under the blanket, for which he was immediately removed from the post of the house captain.

Meanwhile, this is the third time that someone has been punished for violence on the show, this season. Diandra was warned by Bigg Boss after she pushed Sonali during a weekly task, and then when Puneet grabbed Arya Babbar by the neck and threw him on the ground for which he was ousted from the show, and later brought inside in a cage.

This was the moment when Puneet had to choose two names amongst all, whom he wanted to punish, for the judgement day. Puneet went on explaining why would he choose one and why wouldn’t the other. Taking the example of Ali he said that he wouldn't choose Ali because in past he has done several things which have hurt the dignity and sentiments of women inside the house. According to him, if he chose Ali to be punished, Ali would stand guilt free, if her serves the punishment which he didn’t want. And that was it! All of a sudden, the two got into a brawl infuriating the situation further. To an extent that both of them threatened each other to disclose many secrets!

Just at that very moment Puneet gathered them all in the bedroom and asked Ali to reapeat the comment he made about Sonali when Lisa Haydon entered the house. The remark were so disgraceful and lewd that Sonali got shocked to hear what was being talked about behind her back and she left no moment in going upto Ali and placing a tight slap right on his face! Everyone was dumb struck when Ali took the opportunity to blow it out of proportion and made it into a very big deal claiming that he suffered physical violence inside the house, which was strictly prohibited in the rule book! All the housemates stood united against him, Ali threatened to leave the house if severe action wasn’t taken against Sonali.

There was full on chaos as Ali tried climbing up the roof and running away. Just then Big Boss stopped him and called him inside the confession room. Ali looked traumatized as the entire house stood against him, he complained of severe pain on the head. He in fact even lied down shivering on the floor of confession room, when a doctor was called and Ali was shifted him from there.

Big Boss later announced that the second part of the judgement was called off for the day. Only question that floated across everyone's face was who would Bigg Boss take the action against? Ali or Sonali? Was Ali really so petrified that it lead to such a trauma? Where did he go? What was housemates take on all this?
